Extended Family

  Xera

In January our family adopted one of the female kittens of Raven and Rexx, who we named Xera. We adore her and she has been a wonderful addition to our family! She is a constant source of joy and gets along very well with my kids. She actually seems to be most attached to my four year old daughter. She tolerates the kids without any problems and actually cries if they are in the backyard and she can see them out the window! She hates it when they leave her alone, so I try to play with her when they are outside so she won't be lonely. She does try to follow them when they run out to get on the school bus in the morning, so I try to feed her right before it's time for them to go out the door so she doesn't try to follow them or cry when they leave in the morning. And of course, she has the two older cats to play with all day. The one mostly ignores her, but the other will wrestle and play all day with her. She also gets into everything - no roll of toilet paper is safe! We double check the dishwasher/fridge and dryer every time we close them.

Katmandu

Kat is incredibly quick and athletic, as well as gorgeous. He also loves to retrieve his ball and growls if Al tries to take it away. Katmandu never shows any interest in going outside, but he loves to watch the birds on the feeders outside the kitchen window. He's wonderful in every way and he loves for me to hold him. He has one disconcerting habit, which is to try to nurse from my ear lobes! Have you ever heard of that? I've almost broken him of it by turning my head every time he tries, but when he was little, I had to sleep with a shower cap on...he was very persistent. He really does love to retrieve his "mouse" and he's beginning to like his ball too. He's exceptionally quick.

Rise

Emmy's first daughter Rise in her home with her buddy Daphne. Rise say's she is sorry about confiscating your bed Daphne!

Skeeter

Young "Skeeter" has made a new man out of 17 year old "Scooter". I'm Grateful!, delighted with this "Wild One". Dr. Carolyn Rawlins

Bosco

Bosco is one of Tuesday's boys who is now living with Becky Regan

Zack

Zack, one of Emmy's kittens, is now living the good life with Miquel Viso. As you can see, Zack has made himself right at home in Miguel Viso's home.

Ryan and Sunny

We just wanted to let you know that our new kitten is settling in very well. We named him "Sunny" because he is like a ray of sunshine after a storm. He loves his new home and what a sweet disposition! He has a loud motor, and can carry on a great conversation and is real cuddly, too. We just adore him. It makes us feel good to see Ryan so happy. Sunny slept cuddled up to him the entire night. Before he left for school, he said, "Mom, take care of my kitten while I'm gone." April Blackmon

WFB Bear Mountain and
WFB Boo Bear

These wonderful brothers are now making their home in Tampa. I love it when siblings can go to a GREAT home together!

The Huntress

Ashton's mother sent me the photo above of Ashton and Huntress and below, of Huntress in one of her favorite pasttimes.
